Heads or Snails

The good and bad of grocery shopping in a foreign country.

1. Totally cool trolleys.


2. Everything/DS game covers in French.

3. The British section had Marmite. (Before we tried it.)

5. Millions of cool looking lollies.


6. No Milo (but Tonimalt will kind of do).


7. Daim Milka chocolate. (Incomprehensibly delicious!!)


8. Dead animals with their damn heads still on.



And as a final insult, the fiendish bouchers have put the rabbits' heads in their own cracks.


9. Snails with their shells on. Snails with their shells off. Snails in casseroles. Snails in vol-au-vents. Snails in jars. Snails in cans. And snails in bags.

Better dash myself. Dinner's on. Vegetarian pizza...

Glace means ice-cream and is pronounced "glass" with an "a" as in "apple". (Bought a menthe mint and fraises strawberry in town today - delicious!)
